Nature Kenya has always had free bird watching trips ever since I could remember. I believe they started off as bird conservation group and later expanded to the other fields, thus no wonder their long crested eagle logo (This is just my opinion), anyway on to the facts:
Nature Kenya holds bird watching trips every week on wednesdays, and every third sundayof the month. These bird watching trips are normally very relaxing (exciting?) and its a chance to meet up with wonderful bird watchers (don't quote me).
To participate, all you need is to avail yourself at the Nairobi museums car park before 8.45 am. Everyone available normally propose and agree on the day's bird watching destination, distribute themselves in the available vehicles and go.
For non Nature Kenya members, they come with Ksh 100 for temporary membership. Joining/subscribing for 1 year to Nature Kenya costs ksh 1000. For they who didn't know, now you know.
